Where is Greerville, SC? You won’t find Greerville, SC on a traditional map. Greerville is what most locals better know as the “Eastside” of Greenville County. The area located between the cities of Greenville and Greer, SC has grown over time and has it’s own identity and sense of pride; we refer to this area as Greerville (Greer + Greenville = Greerville).
Most of those that have lived in the Greerville area for a while, have experienced the growth of our area first hand. While the population growth of the area is evident, there are still examples of our area’s more rural history visible everywhere. These unique examples of “simpler times” are some of what add to the charm of living here. Rolling farmland with horses and cattle grazing, fruit stands such as Fisher’s and Dillard’s, and mill communities such as those around Taylor’s Mill give Greerville it’s own character and identity from the rest of the upstate.
The combination of the historical charm and the growth of our area have made our area more desirable than ever. Downtown Greer is great for shopping, date nights, and always has events such as “dine on trade”, festivals, farmers markets, and other events for the entire family. Grabbing a local beer at 13 Stripes, or Southern Growl is always a fun time and you can’t go wrong with the uniquely amazing food at Bacon Brothers, or the Strip Club.
Our area has been great for my business. As a REALTOR®, I know our area inside and out. Our local economy is thriving! Even during the COVID19 pandemic, real estate transaction activity never skipped a beat and is still experiencing record demand for homes.
